Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
01 - What we collect
When you join KingOfX with X, we collect the X account identifiers and public profile data needed to create your card, including your X user id, username, display name, and profile image. If X provides an email address, we may store it on your KingOfX account. We may store a copy of that information so the leaderboard does not need to request it from X every time.
02 - X profile data
KingOfX retrieves public profile information from X through the X API after you authorize Join with X. We use that data to create, display, and keep your KingOfX profile in sync. KingOfX is independent from X Corp. and is not endorsed by or affiliated with X. We do not post on X on your behalf.
03 - Visits, clicks, and anti-abuse data
To count verified unique visitors and protect the leaderboard, we may process technical data such as IP address, browser and device information, timestamps, cookies or similar identifiers, referral information, profile clicks, and anti-bot or fraud signals. We use this data to avoid counting the same visitor repeatedly and to detect artificial traffic.
04 - Account, daily claim, and activity
If you stay signed in, we keep a session so you can claim a daily crown, copy your link, and buy crowns. We store daily-claim and streak records. Public activity such as joins, visits, daily claims, and purchases may appear on the live feed with your username, display name, and avatar.
05 - Payments
If you buy crowns, checkout is handled by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. Dodo may collect your name, email, billing information, payment details, and information required for taxes or fraud prevention. KingOfX may receive payment status, transaction identifiers, buyer email, the selected recipient profile, and the number of crowns purchased. We do not receive or store your full card number.
06 - How we use your information
We use information to create and display profiles, calculate leaderboard scores, count verified visits and profile clicks, run daily claims, deliver purchased crowns, show the public activity feed, prevent fraud and manipulation, provide support, keep transaction records, measure product usage, and improve KingOfX.
07 - What is public
KingOfX is a public leaderboard. Your X username, display name, profile image, rank, crown count, public activity, and certain competition statistics may be visible to anyone. Your payment details, email address, IP address, device signals, and anti-fraud data are not shown publicly.
08 - Who we share data with
We may share the minimum information needed with service providers that help operate KingOfX, including Dodo Payments for checkout and taxes, hosting and database providers, Vercel Analytics and PostHog for product analytics, security services, and X when we request public profile information through its API. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect KingOfX from fraud or abuse.
09 - Cookies, sessions, and local storage
KingOfX uses a visitor cookie to support unique-visit counting, signed-in session cookies to keep you logged in, and similar browser storage for basic product state and abuse protection. If you join the waitlist, we store the email address you submit. Where consent is legally required for non-essential tracking, we will request it before using that tracking.
10 - Retention, rights, and contact
We keep data for as long as reasonably necessary to run KingOfX, maintain leaderboard and transaction records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations. You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data, subject to records we are legally required to keep. KingOfX is operated by BrankiStudio in Serbia.
